Mandy Sunshine Baily - Founder & Principal
From her early days in the Peace Corps collaborating with communities, to running a small farm, to managing a statewide workforce training initiative, Mandy brings a broad and practical range of experience to Coalescing.
Mandy’s academic background and applied work in anthropology provide a strong foundation for her human-centered approach to problem-solving and process design. She integrates insights from the social sciences to ensure that people, context, and culture are always part of the equation.
Outside of work, Mandy enjoys surfing, mountain biking, photography, and karate. She values spending time with friends, reading in hammocks, and adventuring with her husband and three sons on Florida’s east coast.
Chris Comstock - Systems Strategist
Chris brings to Coalescing a complementary set of skills in business strategy, industrial engineering, and photography. He has nearly 30 years of experience with NASA (retired) in engineering and project management, including financial management, industrial engineering processes, and contracts & proposals. Chris is owner of Comstock Photography and professor of photography & portraiture at the local state college.
Chris enjoys sailing, mountain biking, and relaxing with family and friends. A recently retired Firefighter/EMT from Canaveral Fire Rescue, he remains active in the fire department as Chair of the Board of Directors.
Mandy and Chris’s collaboration extends beyond their work with Coalescing—they have been married for over 20 years and have three sons together. Their partnership brings a unique blend of technical and creative strengths, combining analytical and intuitive perspectives that support Coalescing’s balanced and holistic approach.
